With excellent contacts within the grain industry, and an eye for finding new market opportunities, Duncan is now working hard on building up high-end clients in Asia, and ensuring the KI Pure Grain brand continues to grow.
Kangaroo Island Pure Grain
Kangaroo Island Pure Grain was set up last year to sell canola from the island to new markets overseas. It now looks after the storage, handling and marketing of grain for about 98 per cent of the island’s growers.
A total of 78 of the island’s major grain growers have signed three-year contracts with KI Pure Grain, with a strong focus on selling and marketing clean, GM-free products to a range of premium markets throughout Asia and the Middle East.
Duncan will share with us today the journey he and the KI Pure Grain growers have gone through as they focus on and meet the needs of their consumers.
