Blueprint for Australian Agriculture
You might have heard about the Blueprint for Australian Agriculture, bringing together all interested in and involved with agriculture to help shape its future direction. The NFF are inviting you to get involved. It doesn’t matter what your role in agriculture is, or where you fit in the supply chain – they’d really value your input.
The Blueprint gives you the opportunity to have your say on the issues and challenges facing the agricultural sector and the supply chain now and into the future. Your voice and vision are crucial in finding solutions to achieving a strong and sustainable future. The Blueprint is an initiative of the National Farmers’ Federation (NFF), Westpac and Woolworths, and once developed, will be a road map for the future direction of the agricultural sector, helping to direct policy development in agriculture.
The NFF are keen to hear from farmers, transporters, retailers, consultants, rural businesses, agribusinesses, educators, governments, rural communities, community groups and consumers. After all, as the saying goes: if you eat, you're a partner in farming. Over 1,500 Australians have already taken part in the Blueprint, and they’d like to hear from you too.
We understand your time is precious, so they’ve made it very simple to get involved. Head to http://www.nff.org.au/blueprint.html and click on SURVEY to have your say. They also encourage you to invite your colleagues and community to get involved by forwarding on this email or talking about the Blueprint for Australian Agriculture at your next meeting or function.
The Blueprint survey closes Friday 13th July, 2012.
Should you have any queries or questions regarding the Blueprint, please contact the NFF on 02 6269 5666.
